Session 1

On Wednesday  I was learning how to use Photoshop It was  difficult to start with because the computer wouldn't log on but when it did we managed to get onto Photoshop and use it for a bit. I was a bit behind because of the computer not working but caught up quite easily.

I was not use to Photoshop because i haven't used it in a while but when it was all explained I gradually figured it out.

We used the free transform option which allows you to make the picture bigger or smaller. We also learnt the shortcut Ctrl+T, we also used the clone stamp tool to take parts of pictures and put them somewhere else on the same picture or on another picture. We also used the move tool which moved the picture.

Using the clone stamp tool I made a three eyed cat with the eye in the center, I then made a man have two lips, and then combined a man with some cat eyes instead of his own eyes

Session 2
We started to use over features of Photoshop in the second session. We learnt how to use the Marquee tool which cuts out selected parts of images. When the area is selected you can press back space to delete the selected area. You can go to History (located in the windows tab) to go back or Ctrl+Z . If you right click the Marquee tool you will be given some options, one of the options is to get a oval shape (Elliptical tool) , If you hold shift using the elliptical tool you will be able to get a perfect circle. If you press backspace it will delete what is in the circle, but if you select inverse it will delete everything outside the circle. We also learnt how to fill sections in with paint. The last thing we learnt to use was the pen tool which helps cut around the selected area of the picture more accurately. We also used the lasso tool which is similar.
